The project objective
LIFE-CIRTECHTEX aims to transform pre-consumer and post-consumer textile waste into new technical fabrics that meet the strict requirements of the PPE market.
The project studies the full circular process: material collection, classification and preparation, recycled yarn and fabric development, quality control and the validation of protective performance.
Protection remains the priority
Introducing recycled content into technical textiles requires more than reducing waste. Every new material must retain the durability, traceability and protective performance demanded by its intended hazard and garment specification.
