Controlled droplets

Measures heat transfer through material exposed to small molten-metal droplets.

Number of drops to a 40 K sensor rise, equivalent to a rise of 40 °C.

ISO 11611

Uses the drop count and resistance to ignition to classify welding clothing.

Class 1 or Class 2.
